More than 130 Skills & Drills
For Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced
players

The top of the page explains how the drill is performed and the basic rules that govern each component of the drill. The center of the page displays a detailed diagram of the drill itself. The bottom of the page contains three separate sections. These sections include key skills taught by the drill, coaching points and some alternatives to how the drill can be completed. Within every chapter there are drills that range from a beginning playerís skill level to drills that require advanced soccer skills. The level of skill needed to complete a specific drill is located in the left or right margin of each individual drillís page. As teams and players improve, coaches can combine different levels of drills to ensure that the players are always challenged. The most effective practices will consist of drills from all three of the skill levels.

There are three separate skill levels listed in this app. They are Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3. If a drill is marked i"For All" then players from all three skill levels can utilize these drills. Review the statements below to find which skill levels are best for your team.

SKILL LEVELS
Level 1: Beginners: These drills are designed to introduce fundamental skills to players who are new to the sport or to serve as a warm-up for more advanced players.
Level 2: Intermediate to advanced players: Players must have a good foundation in all technical areas to perform these drills. These drills can also be used in conjunc- tion with either Level 1 or Level 3 drills.
Level 3: Advanced players only: The skills needed to perform these drills are sub- stantial. Teams should not, however, overlook the first two skill levels based on their teamís ability to complete Level 3 drills. The best opportunity to improve as both players and teams comes from using all three skill levels in combina- tion with each other.
For All: These drills are for all three skill levels ñ These drills can be Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 drills depending on the skill level of the players completing them.
