[iPhone God App] It was found using the SpectaRuler actually

AS FEATURED IN THE "New and Noteworthy" and "What's Hot" Utilities sections!

"If you have ever found yourself wishing you could know the distance or height of an object or building..SpectaRuler by HollingTech Software LLC can help you."
-Gwen Phua, Appmodo.com

“Measurement tool apps … Wouldn’t it be great if one actually worked in practice, rather than just in theory? From what I’ve experienced, SpectaRuler is that app.”
-Michelle Schusterman, The iPhone App Review (Scored 9/10)

I SEE ALL THESE RULER APPS ON THE App Store-WHAT MAKES SpectaRuler SO MUCH BETTER?

Here are some of the limitations of OTHER MEASURING APPS:

-Measure height-ONLY if you know distance
-Measure distance-ONLY if you know height
-Measure height and distance-ONLY on level ground
-Measure height or width-ONLY if you are standing at the same height, and directly in front of the object
-Measure height or width-ONLY with a frame of reference in the picture

SpectaRuler is the measuring app that eliminates these limitations!

As long as an object is upright, with SpectaRuler you can measure from higher, lower, the left, and the right!

CHECK OUT THESE UNIQUE FEATURES:
-Ruler and Range Finder in one app
-Measure upright objects
-Measure small & large objects
-No reference required in pictures
-Measure across uneven surfaces
-Measure objects that are higher or lower
-Measure objects without standing in front of them

PLEASE be sure to follow the instructions.

OK – This all sounds amazing, but how is this possible?

-SpectaRuler uses your shoe size and step count as a frame of reference to measure objects around you.

-Simply take your first measurement(s), take some heel to toe steps, and take your second measurement(s). You choose the # of steps. Typically, more steps take longer, but will reduce measurement uncertainty. Fewer steps will be faster, but will increase measurement uncertainty.

-Since shoes can slightly vary in length, if you notice the measurement results to be slightly too large, try DECREASING the shoe size by 1/2 to 1 size. If you notice the measurements to be too small try increasing shoe size.

•MEASURING DISTANCE AND HEIGHT or DISTANCE AND ELEVATION•
1.Set the step count by tapping the STEPS indicator.
2.Hold phone at eye level, tilt to align crosshairs with top of target, and tap screen. If measuring DISTANCE AND HEIGHT keep device at eye-level, and repeat this instruction step for the bottom of the object.
3.Step heel to toe, directly toward target, the indicated number of steps. Make sure after your final step to bring your trailing foot forward (align your toes). Adjust the step count if # of steps taken differs from the on screen indicator.
4.Repeat step 2, and dimensions will slide onto the screen!

•MEASURING DISTANCE, HEIGHT & WIDTH•
1.Set the step count by tapping the STEPS indicator.
2.Align crosshair approximately with the center of the rectangular object you wish to measure and tap screen.
3.Step heel to toe, directly toward target, the indicated number of steps. Make sure after your final step to bring your trailing foot forward (align your toes). Adjust the step count if # of steps taken differs from the STEPS indicator.
4.Repeat step 2.
5.Drag the “X” markers to the four corners of the object you are measuring and tap the check mark. Repeat this process for the second photo, and dimensions will slide onto the screen.

--Note that when measuring DISTANCE AND HEIGHT, or DISTANCE, HEIGHT & WIDTH SpectaRuler will still perform measurements if the ground traversed is uneven or sloping!

--DISTANCE AND ELEVATION is relative to the camera lens. Also, while the object can be above or below, the ground traversed should be flat.
