It's a great day for a hike! iDayHike is designed for the casual day hiker who likes to know how far they've hiked, how high they've climbed and which way they're heading.


Features:

* The main screen displays the total distance hiked, current and starting elevations as well as the cumulative elevation gain.

* It keeps track of time you have spent hiking. If you feel like stopping for a break just hit the stop button and the timer will pause along with you. (just don't forget to start it up again!)

* It has a built-in compass so you don't have to leave the app to get your bearings.

* It gives you the sunrise (for you early birds) and sunset times for your current position so you know just how much time you have to get back to the trailhead.

* It can display data in either Metric or Standard units and time in either 12 or 24 hour formats.

Notes:
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Poor GPS signal can and will affect distance and elevation gain data. To get the best results it is recommended that you mount your iPhone externally.
