Keep all your sensitive emails safe with Secret Decoder, the fun tool for sending secret messages to your friends. Your messages will be sent using the Mail Application on your iPhone or iPod Touch but are protected from prying eyes with any password you like.

--------------------------------------
ATTENTION 1.0 USERS
If you receive a secret message from the new version, you will need to update for free before you can view it. Of course you will always be able to see your old messages in either version.
--------------------------------------

Secret Decoder is simple to use but the uses are endless:

*** Send secret messages to your friends.
Write a secret note or send a silly picture to a friend with confidence only they can view it. Either agree upon a password ahead of time or provide a hint in the unencoded part of your message. Your friends will need to have Secret Decoder on their iPhone or iPod Touch too.

*** Send private messages to yourself.
Your personal information and private pictures will remain "For your eyes only!" in your online email account with this added layer of privacy protection.

*** Challenge your friends to some trivia.
Cook up some crazy questions then encode the message "You got it!" with the correct answer as the password.

*** Create a wild scavenger hunt or spy game.
Each clue is a puzzle, riddle, or image that leads you to a real or virtual place where you can find a password. Use the password to unlock the next clue.

Send and receive unlimited secret messages, with passwords you create, using your own email accounts.
- The only restriction on the password is that it must have at least 5 characters. Other than that use any characters you like - even spaces! To simplify things for trivia, we recommend using all lower-case for the password/answer and filling with spaces if it is less than 5 characters.
- Keep the secret message on your email account if you like and decode it again and again.
- The decoded message and the password used to decode it are never stored so they can't be compromised. That means if you lose your iPod, your secret messages are still safe and you haven't lost them!
